Hannah E. Chapple

Hannah E. Chapple is a writer and educator. She is currently a PhD candidate in English at University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she studies ecocriticism and literature of the long nineteenth century.

Recent poetry appears in Sooth Swarm Journal, DMQ Review, RESTLESS, and Ibis Head.

Hannah is currently working on her dissertation: On Unknown Ground: Bioregional Inheritance and Climatic Disruption, an analysis of inherited and displaced folk knowledge, authority, and belonging in climate-changed communities of contemporary environmental fiction.

She is founder and editor-in-chief of the literary and arts journal We Were So Small.
